Apple’s marketing has always been praised, most notably is the “Think Different”. However, that latest eye-catching slogan of “Your entertainment. Everywhere” on Apple’s iTunes page can not help but lead people to doubt, is Apple still the Apple to “Think Different”? is so similar to the slogan of “your entertainment, everywhere” on Microsoft Zune’s page. The same word, but the different punctuation and capitalization, was Apple blatant plagiarism? Or has other considerations?

After careful consideration, the slogan of iTunes 10.4 was “Your music. Everywhere.” From 10.5, the slogan of iTunes page became “Your entertainment. Everywhere.” This approach of Apple iTunes naturally has considerations of brand consistency, since there the Zune’s “your entertainment, everywhere” in the former, whether Apple should also avoid arousing suspicion?

In the field of IT, and even outside the field of IT, Apple has already become the synonymous of innovation in many people’s minds. With the innovation time and time again, Apple made industry competitors ashamed, and then catch up (or follow). What differences between “Your entertainment. Everywhere.”and “your entertainment, everywhere” remains to be explored, but Apple’s behavior is still inevitably lead people to doubt: can Apple continue to “Think Different” without Steve Jobs? Or can not help but become one of “think alike”?

We sincerely hope that Apple can continue to exceed expectations, both on technological innovation and marketing as well as other aspects.
